ESL - Especially for children (Comments from Beth Tracy):
This has interactive games as well as printable worksheets. It is designed for children, which the graphics reflect, but the worksheets could be used by ESL beginners. Watch out for British vocabulary differences.
Interactive games, many levels, many skills. Analogies, homonyms, spelling, reading for meaning, etc.
Designed for children. The interactive exercises are very engaging and are designed to help children learn decoding skills. My first grader (from Mexico) loves this site.
Click on "Between the Lions" to find some original games for morpheme awareness ("chicken stacker" for short vowel sounds). Although these game are interactive, there are also printable versions of some of them.
